My school essay

The name of my school is ‘the National High School’. It is the best school in my city. It has a big building. The building has four floors. There are forty classrooms. These rooms are big, bright and airy. There are benches, desks, a chair and a table, and a blackboard in every classroom. Photographs of famous people, and maps and charts hang on the walls.

We have a good library in our school. It contains many books on various subjects. Many newspapers and magazines are kept in a separate reading-room. We have a well-equipped laboratory. There is a big hall with a stage for our school functions. We have three for indoor games. There is a big water-room with three water-coolers. We have a large playground behind the school building. There is an up-to-date gymnasium in one corner of the playground.

We have a large staff of teachers. They are all well-qualified and experienced. They are sincere and hard-working. They love us and we love them, too. They teach us in a very interesting way. The school office has six clerks and eight peons. They do their work well, and are always helpful to us. Our principal is a man of strict discipline but he is kind-hearted. We love and respect him. I am proud of my school.
